    Description

    Up for sale is an
    Antique Meiji Period (1868 - 1912) Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Brass Oil Pot Flame Snuffer. This set measures 6" by 3.25" by 2.5" and overall is in great shape with average wear and no major flaws except the outer ring of the top to the pitcher needs to be reattached (see pics 3-5). I have not attempted to polish the brass and it could use a good cleaning.
    The current owner's family lived in Japan from 1979-84 and this was acquired during that time and told it was from the Meiji period.
